Experience the Ultimate Polar Bear Photography Adventure in Churchill, Canada!  Join us on an unforgettable photographic journey to Churchill, Manitoba—one of the most extraordinary places on Earth to witness polar bears in their natural habitat. Nestled along the shores of Hudson Bay, this remote frontier town transforms each November into the polar bear capital of the world. As the sea ice begins to form, polar bears migrate through Churchill, offering an unparalleled opportunity to observe and photograph these majestic animals up close.

Unlike traditional tours that rely on elevated tundra buggies, this experience is designed specifically for photographers seeking intimate and impactful perspectives. You’ll be photographing the bears at eye level, capturing more engaging, emotional, and storytelling-rich images. There’s nothing like locking eyes with a wild polar bear through your lens—grounded, raw, and unforgettable.

Safety and expertise are at the heart of this tour. You'll be guided by experienced local bear guides who know the land, the wildlife, and the behavior of these powerful animals. Their deep knowledge and respect for the bears not only ensure your safety but also maximize photographic opportunities while minimizing disturbance to the wildlife. Combined with our expert photo instruction, this partnership allows you to focus on your creativity and connection to the environment.

This is one of the rare places where polar bears are driven ashore during the summer ice melt, creating a unique convergence of wildlife and human presence. Our tour is timed to coincide with peak polar bear activity, when the bears are most active—sparring, hunting, and preparing for the freeze-up. With expert guidance, you’ll capture once-in-a-lifetime images: dramatic action, quiet moments, and everything in between against the stark, beautiful backdrop of the subarctic tundra.

Beyond the bears, you'll experience the character and resilience of the Churchill community—a place where wildlife and people live side by side. You'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the local culture, enjoy the magic of the northern lights, and explore this windswept and wildly photogenic region.

Whether you're a seasoned photographer or a passionate wildlife enthusiast, this tour offers extraordinary access, small group intimacy, and personalized instruction to help you elevate your storytelling through the lens. Don’t miss your chance to witness the raw beauty of the Arctic and create compelling images that speak to the power and vulnerability of one of nature’s most iconic creatures.

Please note: this is our first trip to Churchill. Which is why we are offering this tour at a discounted price. Most tours charge around $13,000 for the same number of days.
